Conor Dwyer

Conor Dwyer writes from more than 30 years of personal and practical experience owning, breeding, training and rehoming dogs. He previously held the licences required for his breeding activity and later moved from hands-on work into dog-owner education after a back injury. He is the author of Barking Up the Right Tree: A Real Dog Owner’s Handbook. Conor is not a veterinarian, clinical animal behaviourist or solicitor; health, behaviour and legal articles are general education and identify the external sources used.

Conor’s approach is practical and honest: understand the dog in front of you, protect welfare and public safety, and be willing to ask for qualified help.
